De Hikvision DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL met 4mm lens is een professionele 8MP 4K ColorVu AcuSense turret beveiligingscamera van Hikvision, uitgerust met een ingebouwde stroboscoop, sirene en tweerichtingsaudio voor actieve afschrikking. Dankzij de ColorVu technologie levert deze camera altijd kleurbeelden in ultrahoge 4K resolutie — ook in volledige duisternis — met de 4mm lens voor gerichte bewaking op afstand met maximale detailweergave.

Toepassingen
De DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL met 4mm lens is bij uitstek geschikt voor veeleisende installaties waar gerichte 4K kleurherkenning op afstand en actieve afschrikking vereist zijn: toegangspunten, gangen, parkeerterreinen en buitenlocaties. Vergeleken met de 2.8mm variant biedt de 4mm lens een smallere beeldhoek (81° vs. 100°) voor meer detail op grotere afstand in 4K kleur — de ideale keuze wanneer gerichte kleurherkenning op afstand prioriteit heeft boven maximale ruimtedekking.

Great low-light camera
The cam fits my needs almost perfectly. I wanted one with a sensitive sensor that can record at night with very little light around. I can't use additional camera lights because it is recording through a window. For this cam 0.0005 Lux is enough. The picture is sharp and clear and smooth. It has a sub-stream too: max 1280x720 (25fps).
What the cam isn't great at in my case is white balance. However, there are multiple settings in the web GUI, so one can adjust them as needed. This one is a rare model with 4mm fixed lens (the popular one has wider 2.8mm). I have both and the difference is clearly visible. If you need the widest angle possible go with 2.8mm. If you prefer a bit more detail and would like to record e.g. a house front, then 4mm might be a better choice.
Hikvision also provides "video adjustment" slider where you can correct the lens curve effect, so the picture is more "straight" (however at a cost of cutting corners/sides a bit) - it's really useful. You can also define how sensitive is the day (color)/night (bw) switch, shutter range (exposure), noise reduction, and many more. Powered by PoE both cams are stable. I've never had streaming or picture issues so far.
I'm glad IPCAM SHOP had the 4mm model available and that they shipped to Germany. It took only a couple of days. I'm very satisfied with my purchase here!
