Here's what's new with the S4
- 180° × 180° panoramic view. From floor to ceiling and wall to wall. See visitors from head to toe, as well as a package on the doorstep.
- VR mode. Move your phone (or VR headset) and look around freely in the full image, as if you were standing at the door yourself.
- eufy OmniTrack™: AI tracking and auto-framing. The doorbell recognizes a person, tracks them, and automatically keeps them centered in the frame.
- 9MP 3K image (3072 × 3072) with color night vision. Zoom in up to 8×. According to eufy, you can recognize faces and read license plates from up to about 8 meters away.
- Radar plus dual PIR sensors. This combination detects people more accurately, so you get fewer unnecessary notifications. The S4 also recognizes people, motion, packages, and faces.
- Answer like a video call. When someone rings the doorbell, your phone rings just like a video call. Talk to the visitor with one tap.
- Local storage, no monthly fees. 4 GB of built-in storage plus a microSD slot (card not included). With a microSD card or HomeBase S380, you can also record continuously 24/7.
- Always powered, with backup. The S4 runs on your existing doorbell wiring (16–24V AC). In the event of a power outage, the built-in 2,600 mAh backup battery takes over.
- Smart home. Works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Home (Apple Home via HomeBase S380). The S4 also has dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), and a Mini Chime doorbell chime is included.
