Product description

Hikvision DS-2CD2187G3-LIS2UY — 8MP 4K ColorVu Dome Camera with 24/7 Color Images

The Hikvision DS-2CD2187G3-LIS2UY is a professional 8MP (4K) ColorVu dome security camera from Hikvision, designed to provide 24/7 color images at maximum resolution — even in complete darkness. Thanks to its built-in warm-white illumination, AcuSense technology, dual microphone, and 2.8mm fixed lens, this camera consistently delivers colorful, highly detailed images — ideal for demanding surveillance installations where both 4K quality and color identification are required day and night.

Key features

  • 8MP / 4K resolution — Maximum image detail for identification and digital zoom without loss of quality
  • ColorVu 24/7 color night vision — Always colorful images thanks to built-in warm-white illumination, even in complete darkness
  • AcuSense detection — Distinguishes people and vehicles from other motion, drastically reducing false alarms
  • Dual built-in microphone — Improved audio recording and on-site sound detection
  • 2.8mm fixed lens / 107° field of view — Wide overview for entrances, shops, and open spaces
  • Extremely light-sensitive (0.001 Lux) — Color images in minimal lighting
  • IP67 & IK10 — Fully dustproof and waterproof, with vandal resistance for demanding outdoor environments
  • PoE (IEEE 802.3af) — Easy installation via a single network cable for power and data
  • H.265+ compression — Efficient storage with minimal bandwidth usage

Applications

The DS-2CD2187G3-LIS2UY is particularly suitable for locations where maximum image quality and color identification are essential day and night: entrances to commercial buildings, parking lots, shops, and outdoor areas. Compared with the 4MP DS-2CD2147G3-LIS2UY, this 8MP model offers double the resolution for even sharper details and greater digital zoom, while the dual microphone provides improved audio recording. The IK10 housing makes this model especially suitable for environments with an increased risk of vandalism.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
