Product description

Hikvision DS-2CD2583G2-LIS2U — 8MP 4K ColorVu Dome Camera with Active Deterrence

The Hikvision DS-2CD2583G2-LIS2U is a professional 8MP (4K) ColorVu dome security camera from Hikvision, equipped with an active deterrence function via a built-in strobe light and audio signal. With 24/7 color images in 4K resolution, two-way audio, a 2.8mm fixed lens, and IP67 protection, this camera is ideal for demanding surveillance locations where maximum image quality and immediate deterrence of intruders are required.

Key features

  • 8MP / 4K resolution — Maximum image detail for identification and digital zoom without loss of quality
  • ColorVu 24/7 color night vision — Always-colorful images thanks to built-in warm white lighting, even in complete darkness
  • Active deterrence — Built-in strobe light and audio signal to immediately discourage intruders upon detection
  • AcuSense detection — Distinguishes people and vehicles from other motion, dramatically reducing false alarms
  • Built-in microphone and speaker — Two-way audio for communication and on-site sound detection
  • 2.8mm fixed lens / 108° viewing angle — Wide overview for entrances, parking lots, and open spaces
  • Extremely light-sensitive (0.001 Lux) — Color images in minimal lighting
  • IP67 weather resistance — Completely dustproof and waterproof for indoor and outdoor use
  • SD card slot up to 512GB — Local storage as a backup or standalone solution
  • PoE (IEEE 802.3af) — Easy installation via a single network cable for power and data

Applications

The DS-2CD2583G2-LIS2U is ideally suited to locations where maximum image quality and active deterrence of intruders are required: parking lots, storage areas, construction sites, and outdoor areas. Compared with the 4MP DS-2CD2143G2-LIS2U, this 8MP model offers twice the resolution for even sharper details and greater digital zoom, while the active deterrence function is identical — the ideal choice for 4K ColorVu surveillance with immediate deterrence.
