Ideal for

The Foscam V5EP is perfect for professional outdoor security of homes and businesses where a stable wired connection is desired: monitoring front door, backyard, driveway, parking lot, warehouse, or shop entrance. The AI detection specifically recognizes people and vehicles, so you only receive relevant alerts. The spotlight and sound alarm actively deter intruders before anything happens, while you get color images for better identification.

Advanced AI detection and PoE benefits

The V5EP features advanced AI technology that recognizes and distinguishes people and vehicles from pets, leaves, or other movements. Set detection zones for specific areas and receive only alerts that truly matter. Upon detection, the camera automatically activates the spotlight for color images and can play an adjustable sound alarm to scare off intruders. The PoE connection ensures maximum stability without WiFi interference, ideal for professional installations and locations with much WiFi disturbance.

Easy installation with PoE

Mount the V5EP at the desired outdoor location and connect one network cable to a PoE switch or PoE injector. The camera receives both power and data through this single cable, so no separate power adapter is needed. Download the Foscam app, add the camera to your network, and you have immediate access to live 5MP images, AI detection settings, alarm configuration, and all camera functions from any location with internet connection. The intuitive app makes it easy to set detection zones and configure alarm schedules.

Note: This is a PoE camera - no power adapter is included. A PoE switch or PoE injector is required.
